MODELS: Cleveland Launcher XL2 and Cleveland Launcher XL2 Draw

NEED TO KNOW: As far as technology is concerned the Cleveland Launcher XL2 and XL2 Draw models share the same platform but are configured to meet the needs of different golfers. The two big technologies are the A.I. designed mainframe XL variable face thickness to help increase the overall size of the effective sweet spot for higher ball speeds, and the rebound frame to help the entire driver head beyond the face flex to more efficiently transfer energy.

When Cleveland says XL for its Launcher XL2 drivers, they mean it. The geometry of the driver has been pushed to the limit to boost MOI (as mentioned 2 percent heel-to-toe and 12 percent top-to-bottom) which not only helps golfers hit more fairways but also helps inspire confidence behind the ball. This larger profile design is made possible because of the extremely lightweight all-titanium framework that makes up the head construction and also helps save weight to reposition it around the perimeter for as much forgiveness as possible.

MODELS: Cleveland ZipCore XL and Cleveland Halo XL Full-Face

NEED TO KNOW: Cleveland has aggressively positioned itself as a company making easy-to-hit clubs, designed for maximum fun and enjoyment of the game, and with both the ZipCore XL and Halo XL Full-Face irons, they’ve created two options to help golfers do just that.

Forgiveness where you need it and precision where you want it is at the heart of the ZipCore XL irons design. The longer 4-7-irons are equipped with Cleveland’s MainFrame technology that positions CNC grooves and channels on the back of the face to increase flex to help deliver more ball speed — especially on mishits. The looks of the Halo XL Full-Face irons are quick to grab anyone’s attention thanks to their hybrid-iron design to deliver maximum forgiveness and high launch. Also as the name suggests, the Full-Face irons feature full-face grooves for the first time in an iron design to create a larger effective hitting area to help maintain spin, and that’s to go along with the 20% larger striking area to further boost MOI.

Cleveland Halo XL Fairway Woods

$249.99
Get yourself a new Cleveland Halo XL fairway wood with custom shafts and specs from Fairway Jockey today!

MODELS: Cleveland Halo XL.

NEED TO KNOW: A key attribute of the Halo XL woods line is the Glide Rails on the sole of the clubs to help lower the center of gravity by positioning extra mass on the sole and to help deliver more effective turf interaction to better maintain a square face through the impact zone. In essence, they act as rudders to help the club glide through the grass without digging and are especially effective from the rough.

On the inside, the Halo XL woods utilize the same AI-designed MainFrame XL technology as the Launcher XL2 drivers to expand the effective size of the sweet spot to boost distance and forgiveness, but with evolving variable face thickness through the entire Halo XL series woods to best match how each club is most often missed based on player testing data.
